Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has given the latest squad update ahead of the club’s clash with Derby on Saturday.
The Canaries host Derby at Carrow Road as they look to extend their eight-game unbeaten run.
Daniel Farke’s men have been in excellent form in the Championship and beat local rivals Ipswich Town 1-0 last weekend – with a goal from James Maddison.
Farke has now confirmed that Maddison is fully fit for the clash, having suffered a few bumps and bruises in the last few matches.
Speaking to Norwich’s website, Farke said this:
He is available. He took a hit, several hits. After the game, he had some problems with his calf but he is okay.
Good players have to handle it. There are some hits and oppositions players want to get the ball and have to be aggressive against him. He can handle it.
Maddison has been in sublime form for Norwich. He has scored three goals in the club’s last three away matches in the Championship.

Nelson Oliveira made his return to the starting line-up against Arsenal in the League Cup.
Farke says that he is still not yet 100% fit and will have to wait until after the next international break to be ready to start again.
Nelson is fit but not 100%. I take responsibility for the decision but I wanted to risk him against Arsenal. Josh still had pain in his toe but I wanted to risk him as well. I think it was the right decision to do this against Arsenal.
Nelson was careful in the first 30 minutes but had a good second half. Normally I didn’t want to let him play 132 minutes but there were some other problems with other players. He has something inside and he’s always able to create special moments. But he can’t play four games in 10 days. He will be back with 100% after the international break. He will make a short-term appearance tomorrow.
