Norwich City booked their place in the third round of the League Cup on Tuesday night as they beat Charlton 4-1 at Carrow Road.
The Canaries got off to the worst possible start. The ball bounced through to Lee Novak in the box and he lifted the ball into the top corner past Michael McGovern in the 5th minute.
Norwich eventually found their equaliser in the 21st minute. The ball broke loose in the box and Josh Murphy hammered home a half-volley to make it 1-1.
The winger then put Norwich in front in the 52nd minute as he worked space on the byline before curling the ball into the far corner.
Murphy turned provider for Marley Watkins in the 74th minute, cutting the ball back for the Welsh forward to tap home his first goal for the club.
Tom Trybull came off the bench for his debut, sealing the win in the 89th minute by volleying the ball into the far corner from 12-yards.
