Norwich City have signed attacking midfielder Marco Stiepermann from Vfl Bochum, the club has announced.
Stiepermann joins City for a fee believed to be in the region of €1m. He becomes Daniel Farke’s ninth signing of the summer, following a large overhaul of the squad by the new coach. He is also the fourth German player to sign for Norwich in this window, joining Christoph Zimmermann and his former Greuther Furth team mates, Marcel Franke and Tom Trybull.

Stiepermann had been with Bochum for a year, since signing for them from Greuther Furth in 2016. In that time, he has made 32 appearances, scoring two times and creating a further three goals for his team mates. He was on the books of Borussia Dortmund as a youngster but left the club in 2012 and his since played in the German lower divisions. The 26-year-old has represented his country at youth level from U15 to U20 but he is yet to make his senior international debut.
