Bielefeld 1-3 Norwich: Rating the Canaries

Norwich capped off their tour of Germany with a 3-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld on Friday night.

A composed display from the Canaries saw them maintain their unbeaten run in pre-season and finish their tour with a 100% win ratio.

Norwich only played two matches in Germany, mind, but they won both. Daniel Farke’s side beat Duisburg 2-0 on Wednesday.

Steven Naismith opened the scoring for Norwich. Cameron Jerome won the ball back in the area before laying it off to Naismith to coolly slot home from 15-yards out.

The hosts levelled though as their forward got in behind the City back line and finished emphatically past Angus Gunn in goal.

City regained the lead on the stroke of half-time. Marley Watkins was shoved over in the box and Jerome stepped up to smash the ball into the bottom corner.

Nelson Oliveira came off the bench to cap off with the win with a sublime individual effort. The striker picked the ball up on halfway before chopping past a number of players and finishing low into the bottom left corner.

Here is how we rated the Canaries…
