Norwich City boss Daniel Farke has given an update on the recent injuries suffered by Alex Pritchard and Timm Klose which both occurred in the recent 2-0 win over Cambridge United.
First, with Klose, head coach Farke has confirmed, as per the club’s official website that the Swiss defender has a ‘muscle injury and he will be out for at least five weeks.’
Farke added to this by saying: “After five weeks he can probably return to team training then it will last a few more days before he’s fit for a game. We will do without him for the first games of the season.
“There is a break because of the international squads which will help a little bit. Until then I don’t expect him in our starting eleven.”

Farke then went on to speak about Pritchard’s injury and he confirmed that the former Spurs man has ankle ligament damage, adding: “We have to wait a little bit. The first diagnosis is not so good and we will have other meetings with the doctor.
“He will be out for at least six weeks, perhaps a little more time. It’s not good news, especially because they were injuries because of fouls in a friendly game. We have to accept it. It’s football and we have to deal with injuries.”
These injuries are huge blows for the Canaries, especially Pritchard’s as he proved to be one of Norwich’s best players last season and with Jacob Murphy set to leave for Newcastle.
