Scottish side Hearts have signed Kyle Lafferty on a free transfer following his release from Norwich, the club have confirmed.
Lafferty joined Norwich under Neil Adams back in 2014 but failed to make a big impact at Norwich. He was loaned out twice under Alex Neil, to Turkish side Caykur Rizespor and Birmingham respectively. In his three years with Norwich, he made 39 appearances and scored four times.

While his domestic career was stagnating, Lafferty excelled on the international stage for Northern Ireland and gained many plaudits. He featured for his country at Euro 2016, alongside soon to be City team-mate, Michael McGovern.
Lafferty returns to Scotland where he made a name for himself at Rangers, scoring 36 times during his spell at the club. Lafferty had been linked with a return to his old side, however, Hearts have instead signed him.
Hearts finished 5th in last season’s Scottish Premier League, missing out on qualification for the Europa League.
