Preston North End have agreed a fee with fellow Championship club Norwich City for goalkeeper Declan Rudd, according to the journalist Pete O’Rourke.
The shot-stopper has previously had two loan spells at Deepdale and is now on the verge of joining the club on a permanent basis.

Preston are reportedly ready to pay £1 million to secure his signature, with the player set to discuss personal terms before completing the move.
Daniel Emery of Read Norwich broke the news this week that Rudd was keen on a move for Preston and that the two clubs were working to agree a fee for the shot-stopper.

Rudd, 26, spent the whole of last season on loan at League One club Charlton where he gained many admirers through his brilliant performances.
Preston have been monitoring his progress throughout the season and are now ready to make their move for the goalkeeper as Simon Grayson aims for a promotion push in the upcoming season.
Rudd will now have to compete for a starting spot at Deepdale with current goalkeeper Chris Maxwell.
Rudd would have been a free agent this summer and therefore available for free, but Norwich triggered an automatic extension option on his contract meaning that they can cash in on the English shot-stopper.
