Much has been said of Norwich’s transfer dealings thus far this summer.
Eyes were raised when the club announced that they were releasing seven first-team players.
John Ruddy, Ryan Bennett, Youssouf Mulumbu, Sebastien Bassong, Steven Whittaker, Michael Turner and Kyle Lafferty are all set to leave the club at the end of the month when their contracts expire.
The club have, however, been heavily praised for their work in signing players. Three players have already come in the door this summer, despite the transfer window not opening till the start of next month.
Marley Watkins, Angus Gunn and Mario Vrancic have all signed for the club from Barnsley, Manchester City and Darmstadt respectively.
Norwich spent a combined £650k on those three signings – all of that coming from Vrancic.
This is down to the lack of money around the club, with the wage bill too high and not enough money being in the pot.
Because of that, players will have to be sacrificed this summer – with Graham Dorrans looking to be the first – so here are five players the club could sacrifice this summer…
