Norwich 2-0 Brighton: Rating the Canaries

Norwich City spoiled the party on Friday night as they stopped Brighton from securing the Championship title at Carrow Road.

Brighton only need a point to secure the league but came away with nothing as Norwich beat them 2-0 in front of the Sky cameras.

On a bizarre night, the Canaries won 2-0 without registering an official shot on target in the game.

Both goals went down as David Stockdale own goals. The Brighton goalkeeper was desperately unlucky as two Alex Pritchard shots hit the woodwork and bounced back off the shot-stopper and dropped in.

Pritchard, who was being maligned by Brighton fans all night, was superb for Norwich and will count himself unlucky for not getting his name on the scoresheet, despite his two terrific strikes that led to the goals.

Jonny Howson saved Norwich towards the end when he cleared one off the line with his knee, but Brighton rarely threatened the goal.
