Norwich have confirmed the departure of Irish midfielder Robbie Brady for a club-record £13m.
The winger has signed a four-year deal with Premier League new boys Burnley, with the £13m eclipsing the fee received for Nathan Redmond in the summer.
Redmond became the most expensive player in Norwich history in the summer when he was sold to Southampton for £11m.
Now, at £13m, Brady takes the mantle as he completes his much-anticipated move to Burnley.
Brady leaves Norwich after a year-and-a-half at the club. He signed for Norwich from Hull in the summer of 2015 and has scored seven league goals for the club in that time – with four assists in the Championship this season too.
It was made abundantly clear that Norwich had to sell before they could spend money this month and this move will free up funds for Alex Neil to play with in the transfer market.
