Norwich City are set to make a move for Rennes defender Afonso Figueiredo, according to GFNF.
The report claims that Norwich are considering a move for the defender as they look to bolster their options at the back before 11PM today.
Norwich currently have no natural left-backs in the squad and Robbie Brady – who can play there – is set for a £13m move to Premier League side Burnley.
The Canaries are set to sign Ajax defender Mitchell Dijks on loan but it seems Alex Neil is not content with having just one option at left-back.
Norwich could swoop for Figueiredo alongside Dijks to have a healthy selection of players to choose from on the left-hand side.
Martin Olsson left Norwich to join Swansea for £4m earlier this month and the Swedish defender is yet to be replaced by Norwich.
No fee has been mentioned for the Rennes defender thus far.
