Norwich City are looking to sign Amiens midfielder Guessouma Fofana, according to the Daily Mail.
Fofana‘s contract expires at the end of the season, so Norwich would be able to agree pre-contract terms with him to join once his Amiens contract runs out. Furthermore, Norwich could pick him up for cheap in January as Amiens look to avoid losing him for free.
Fofana joined Amiens at the beginning of last season from AS Lyon-Duchère, and has since made 16 appearances for Amiens, scoring once. The 24-year-old is primarily a defensivemidfielder but can play in central midfield.
Fofana’s Amiens side currently sit seventh in Ligue 2, three points away from the play-off position.
Norwich are tenth in the Championship, with their promotion dreams slipping way following a poor run of results. They will be looking to improve in their next match, against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Boxing Day.
