After a one year absence, the Old Farm Derby returns to English football as Norwich make the short trip down the A140 and across the border in to Suffolk.
The excitement for the fixture is definitely most present in Norfolk, as the Tractor Boys have got off to an underwhelming start to their 15th Championship season in succession and have failed to make any significant investment in the squad. They also have the slight distraction of having the Brazilian police putting out an arrest warrant for their almost anonymous owner Marcus Evans.
Norwich, on the other hand, have adjusted to life back in the Championship well, picking up two wins and a clean sheet against fellow promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday. This is despite a number of injuries to some of City’s most notable players, with both John Ruddy and Martin Olsson being hampered by injuries just a couple of weeks into the season.
No doubt this will affect how City will line up for their first derby back in the Championship.
