In Norwich’s first Tuesday night game since returning to English football’s second tier, the Canaries play host to Bristol City.
While two teams who were two leagues apart just over a year or so ago shouldn’t be a tight contest on paper, the world of football can change very fast. The Robins have adjusted to life back in the Championship well, picking up a maximum six points from their two games this season, both against newly promoted sides.
Even though Norwich have a much stronger squad, having years of Premier League money being poured into strengthening the side, the visitors have the one thing Alex Neil craves most for his side; an in-form striker. Being sent on loan from Stamford Bridge over the summer, England Under 19 international Tammy Abraham has three goals in his first two games for Lee Johnson’s team.
