In what was being hyped up as possibly one the biggest clashes of the Championship season, Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday well and truly failed to read the script as they played out a bore draw at Carrow Road.
It was a game lacking in quality and excitement from both sides and at all times, with shots on target being a rare treat for the largely silent 26 thousand in attendance, except for the travelling contingent from the Steel city.
While a clean sheet and a point against a promotion rival may be seen as a good afternoon for the Canaries when looked back upon later in the season, it will be difficult for many Norwich fans to get too excited about 90 minutes which will likely be forgotten by the time they woke up on Sunday morning.
