Norwich open their Championship season away to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon as they look to bounce straight back to the Premier League following their relegation in May.
This time promotion won’t be as straight forward; with Newcastle, Villa, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United all being considered for promotion. However; Blackburn appear to be on a rapid decline following the departures of Rhodes and Gestede and had an awful year last year, making them one of the favourites alongside Burton Albion and Barnsley to be relegated back to the League One.
The club still have some talent but their squad isn’t to much of match compared to Norwich’s, which could make the match extremely interesting, or just straightforward.
If Norwich truly wish to make it back to where they “belong”, then they need to get off to a good start, with it all beginning at Ewood Park, but what would their team look like if the two teams became one? (4-4-2)
