Today, Norwich travelled down the long and winding A47 to open their preseason against a Posh side with a low attendance.
The game that never stopped giving was mediocre during the first half, with the squad that contained Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Timm Klose and John Ruddy, and mainly had first team players. They failed to perform too well in terms of goals, only getting one goal in the hour thanks to a skilful lob from Josh Murphy after the first half hour.
The second-XI picked up the pieces, with Cameron Jerome and Jacob Murphy putting into the net to make the scoreline more respectable for a club that operates a league above.
With twenty-two Norwich players being fielded this afternoon, I’m sure many of the fans that didn’t make the journey will be wondering how some of the players got, whether that’s youngsters like Michee Efete or fan-favourite Timm Klose, here are the player ratings.
