When you consider the money at stake, this could be regarded as one of the biggest games in the history’s of Norwich and Sunderland as the two relegation rivals go head to head at Carrow Road, in Saturday’s early kick off.
Both sides go into he game in questionable form, with the Black Cats only picking up one win in their last eleven outings, while Norwich come off the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat to a poor Crystal Palace side.
With one team sticking as the other twisted in terms of managerial changes, both have constantly tinkered with their starting XI’s trying to find a team that will consistently get results. And in the last month or two, both Sunderland and Norwich have found a relatively reliable spine to their sides and have looked a lot better for it.
There’s no doubt it’ll be a close affair on Saturday, with a victory for either team having astronomic implications in the battle to survive.
