After the impressive stalemate against Manchester City, Norwich City travel to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.
Norwich proved to everyone that they are still in with a chance of survival after a terrific 0-0 draw with Manchester City. Norwich came closest to scoring when City first-team debutant Patrick Bamford rattled the woodwork from a stupendous strike. Despite impressing the majority of the Carrow Road faithful, The Canaries still remain in the relegation zone on goal difference behind Sunderland.
Norwich travel to The Hawthorns with The Baggies in brilliant home form, having last lost at home in December. West Brom pulled off a fantastic victory over an out of form Manchester United side in their last game, with Venezuelan striker Saloman Rondon scoring the winner to BAG them the three points (if you pardon the pun).
This will be the third time in which the two teams have met this season, with both sides recording a victory each. The first meeting came in the Capital One Cup with City progressing after a fine performance, resulting in a 3-0 win. Winger Matt Jarvis opened the scoring with a sublime effort, followed by a terrific solo performance from substitute Kyle Lafferty. This has proved to be one of the only games in which the Northern Irish striker has played this season, causing a mass discussion amongst the Norwich fans as to whether Lafferty should feature more regularly.

The second meeting between the two also occurred at Carrow Road, this time in the Premier League, resulting in a defeat for the Canaries. West Brom took the lead through Saloman Rondon, resulting in a miserable performance form City condemning them to yet another Premier League defeat.

Stated by the Norwich Evening News, Norwich travel to the West Midlands without England Under-21 Winger Nathan Redmond, who picked up an ankle injury against Manchester City in Norwich’s last outing and could potentially miss the make-or-break games at home to Newcastle and Sunderland. Defender Ryan Bennett looks doubtful to play after missing training this week through injury. Scottish Attacker Steven Naismith also may not recover in time. As stated by the BBC, Johnny Evans and Centre-Half Craig Dawson could feature after recovering from hamstring and foot injuries respectively.
If Norwich play the way they did against Manchester City, with passion, belief and desire to achieve, then there is no reason why they can’t beat West Brom and start climbing the table, easing relegation fears in the process.
