Norwich manager Alex Neil told BBC Sport his side were well worth their point, as their clash with Manchester City ended in a goalless draw.
Neil’s side managed to hold on to a valuable point against the League Cup winners, who looked threatening for the majority of the ninety minutes.
Both teams had their chances, but the game ended goalless.
Neil spoke about how he felt Norwich worked extremely hard today, and that Norwich deserved the result, based on how they played.
I felt the boys worked extremely hard. We had a few opportunities. I thought first half in particular we had some good play about the edge of the box, Patrick Bamford hits the bar.
Then second half we get penned in for quite a bit. But we broke away, Graham Dorrans had a good opportunity on the edge of the box. But i felt the boys got what they merited today, which was a real hard-earned point.

The youngest manager in the top flight then stressed the potential benefits of today’s early kickoff, despite failing to grab all three points, with the upcoming visits of relegation rivals Sunderland and Newcastle and a trip to Selhurst Park and Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace.
Yeah big games, but I think it gives us that advantage the fact we’ve got two sort of rivals coming to our place. And it’s about what we do, the onus is going to be on us to win the match and hopefully we can.
The Canaries are now only behind Sunderland in 17th on goal difference, and will be looking to the North East next week, as both relegation rivals play each other in what will be a tough game for Norwich fans to watch.
