Sky Sports journalist David Garrido announced this via his Twitter account on Wednesday evening, Garrido himself being a supporter of the Owls, claiming that Hooper was to be sold by tomorrow. No price has been mentioned but it is thought it could be anything from £3.5 million to £6 million.

Hooper has had a mixed career at Norwich, scoring only 18 goals since signing from Celtic for a fee of over £5m in the Summer of 2013. He did shine at times last season, scoring a hat-trick against woeful Blackpool and a beautiful volley against Rotherham that almost won promotion for Norwich.
