It was a story of what might have been for Norwich, who were sent back to Norfolk with their tails between their legs after a 3-1 defeat at the Britannia.
For the second league game running, it was a sending off that changed the game. But unlike at Carrow Road in the win over Southampton, it was Norwich on the wrong end of the decision as Gary O’Neil was sent off for a shocking tackle before half time.
But the 10 men battled hard, even after going a goal down, and managed to stay in the game until the final 15 minutes when Ryan Bennett, unfortunately, headed into his own net.
An encouraging performance in some aspects, but also some major worries for the Canaries.
