From the outset, we’ve been quite unlucky with our transfer targets this season with other teams have started poaching our targets or deals simply not happening.
However, it looks like Norwich are rekindling their interest in Dwight Gayle from Crystal Palace, according to the Mirror.
Crystal Palace have reportedly said they want to sell him this month, and would rather see Gayle leave Selhurst Park permanently rather than on loan, with reported interest from QPR and Norwich for the striker.

Gayle has scored 4 goals in ten appearances this season, including a hat-trick against Charlton in the Capital One Cup. His goals to game ratio currently stands at 0.43 and has scored 62 goals in his career, with over half of them coming for Palace. Gayle has been on the outskirts of the Palace squad since Alan Pardew joined the club from Newcastle, and almost completed a move to Carrow Road on deadline day last Summer.
This comes just days after Norwich missed out on target Benik Afobe, who signed for Bournemouth for a fee of £10m, and also let Lewis Grabban leave the club, who also joined Bournemouth for a reported £7m.
