Norwich City under-21 captain Cameron Norman has joined Woking FC of the National League on a one-month loan. The center back will play for the club that is currently sixteenth in the fifth tier of English football.
The former FA Youth Cup winner is leaving the youth squad with the Canaries after a poor start to the season that sees his side sitting bottom of the table with just four points from the first six games. The conference side has seven fixtures on their calendar in the next month, so this could give him a chance to get a nice run out in a first team setup.
His first test for the team will be against Kidderminster Harriers, the side that are currently bottom of the National League. It will be interesting to see how the young prodigy does play actual first team football for a side looking to progress up the table of a professional league. Interestingly, this comes just days after Woking put their entire first-team squad up for loan after their Emirates FA Cup 4th preliminary round defeat to Maidenhead United.
