- Sinclair-Brown was part of the new scholar intakes for the Canaries in July 2025
Norwich City announced yesterday that academy player Jeremiah Sinclair-Brown had signed a professional contract with the football club.
The 17-year-old has been a regular name in Greg Crane’s Under-18 side this season, having played 22 times in the Under-18 Premier League South, and also featuring twice for the Canaries in the FA Youth Cup.
First pro contract – to the summer of 2028
Mainly a defensive midfielder, Sinclair-Brown was part of Norwich’s new scholar intakes in July of last year. He has now put pen to paper on his first professional contract, which will last until the summer of 2028.
“I’m really happy, obviously,” said Sinclair-Brown in an interview for the club website. “It’s a proud moment for me and my family, and something I’ve been working towards for a long time. Just really happy to achieve this and just want to keep going now.
“I’m a defensive midfielder, so I like to win the ball midfield, win battles and like being on the ball. I just try to create things going forward. It took me a while to understand the position, but I think I really developed myself, especially this season. I’ve seen real progress and I just want to continue working there.
“I think the first game was a good experience playing in the stadium for the first time. I came off the bench and then just tried to make an impact. The second time I started, so it was a really good moment for me.
“I was really excited to play in front of some fans as well. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the result we wanted, but it was just a really good moment for me. And to see my family there as well, just watching me play in the stadium was a good moment for me.
“It’s obviously a bit different and feels a bit bigger when you’re in the stadium, but it’s good, especially under the lights as well. It’s really different, a different environment, but I really enjoyed it.”
