Norwich travel to Goodison Park to face Everton in the Capital One Cup in a bid to end a run of three straight defeats. The Canaries will of course prioritize Premier League survival over the cup competition, however, they will not want to extend the recent poor run of form which Alex Neil calls “the worst in his career so far.”
Norwich beat West Brom 3-0 in the last round courtesy of goals from Matt Jarvis, Kyle Lafferty and an own goal by Sebastian Pogocnoli. Everton didn’t make it easy for themselves and came back from 1-0 down to beat Reading 2-1 thanks to goals from Ross Barkley and Gerard Deulofeu.
A place in the quarter-final awaits the victors and here in this article I will go over my choice of the eleven Canaries that should play tonight. But of course, this is just my opinion on the team I believe should be selected against Everton and not the team Alex Neil will play for certain. All images are sourced from Getty Images.
