The Daily Mail are reporting that Norwich striker Lewis Grabban reportedly left the team hotel after being told he will not be starting against Rotherham. This comes after news that City have rejected bids from Grabban’s previous side Bournemouth.
The Daily Mail claim that Grabban was told he wouldn’t be starting against Rotherham by Alex Neil and he reportedly left the team hotel.
Bournemouth had two bids rejected for Norwich’s striker in a hope that they could land their former player. After this news, it looks likely that Grabban could be on his way out of Norwich City and has left to try and force a return to Bournemouth.
This might be wrong, however, but it does seem unlikely that Norwich would only field one striker in the whole squad for tonight’s match. With a week to go in the transfer window it all looks to be hotting up.
Norwich are still in the hunt for a new striker, and with Grabban and maybe Hooper leaving, this could bring in funds for a new player. Afobe? We will have to wait and see.
