When clubs get promoted the first thing you normally see managers do is offload the majority of the players who actually got them up. Alex Neil will not be doing that.
Earlier this week 6 players were released from the club but Alex Neil has today said that he will be giving Premier League opportunity to those players that got Norwich City to where they are now.
Neil identified that quality will need to be added to the current squad as they go into the best league in the world but he also made clear that opportunity will arise for the players that got him there.
Neil knows that the majority of his players have Premier League experience so they know what it takes so succeed in the league, hence his faith in his current crop.
Finally Neil said “I don’t think you can just disband the squad and bring in a new set of players because you lose your identity and it is important to have that”
