- Norwich seek third straight victory to keep faint playoff dream alive.
- Clement looking for 18th win as the Canaries host Swansea at Carrow Road.
- Swan arrives with top scorer Zan Vipotnik aiming to spoil the home party.
City look to secure three wins in a row and their second at Carrow Road in four days in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon as they host Swansea City at Carrow Road.
The Canaries go into the game off the back of Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Derby County, their fourth win in their last six games, and Philippe Clement’s 17th win in his 29 league games in charge. There is no doubt he will want to see the discipline and maturity his players showed in midweek be replicated against their visitors from Wales.
The win against the Rams on Tuesday night meant that Norwich’s sliver of hope of reaching the playoffs has stayed alive. They currently sit six points outside the top six with two games to go, and have the best goal difference out of themselves, Derby, Hull City, and Wrexham, who all could finish anywhere between sixth and ninth.
The Swans currently occupy 11th place in the Championship, four points behind the Canaries and only five points ahead of 17th-placed Stoke City with two games to go. They have won just four of their last 10 games, with two of them coming in their last five games, including Tuesday night’s win away at QPR.
They are currently managed by Vitor Matos, the fourth-youngest manager in the Championship at just 38 years, four months, and 30 days old. Since his appointment from Portuguese side Maritimo in November of last year, Swansea have won 13, drawn four, and lost 12 of his 29 games in charge.
They also have the Championship’s top scorer at their disposal – Zan Vipotnik – who has scored 22 goals and registered three assists in 42 games this season, and who also scored a brace when these two sides last met in October.

Freddie’s betting prediction
As the odds show, the bookies are favouring a home win for Norwich City, but maybe part of this is in relation to the fact that the Canaries are fighting for the playoffs, and have been one of the best form sides in the Championship since the turn of the year.
But Swansea City will want to be the party poopers at Carrow Road, especially given that any points dropped for Norwich end their hopes of a top-six finish. But when looking at the last five head-to-heads, the home side has won on four of five occasions. With that in mind, I think the value is in the 73/100 for a home win for Norwich City.
It’s worth noting, though, that the Canaries have only drawn a game once since December 20, which makes the 3/1 for a draw look appealing.
