Norwich will face Tottenham away from home in the fifth round of the FA Cup next month.
The Canaries beat Premier League side Burnley in the previous round, but only found out their next opponents on Wednesday night due to Tottenham and Southampton’s replay.
Tottenham were unable to beat Southampton in the original fixture at St. Mary’s, but came out as 3-2 winners on Wednesday to seal their clash with Norwich. An own-goal from Saints defender Jack Stephens put Spurs in front, with Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son scoring the other goals for Jose Mourinho’s side.
With Norwich currently bottom of the Premier League and seven points adrift of safety, the FA Cup has something that fans can enjoy – with back-to-back wins in the competition.
Norwich beat Preston 4-2 in the third round, with Adam Idah scoring a hat-trick and Onel Hernandez getting one, before Grant Hanley and Josip Drmic secured a win at Burnley.
