Norwich head coach Daniel Farke has revealed that the club are currently working on potential news signings for the summer transfer window.
The Canaries are currently bottom of the Premier League and seven points adrift of safety with 13 games to play, suggesting that a return to the Championship could be on the cards.
Speaking to The Pink’Un, Farke said:
We’re working on a few things for the summer, because we definitely have to be prepared for different scenarios. We’re looking forward to attracting some top class players but also some young talents, or projects, like the signing of Sam and Melvin.

If Norwich are relegated back to the second tier, where could they be looking to do business? It is only natural that some of City’s top performers could become targets for other clubs, with the likes of Todd Cantwell, Emi Buendia and Teemu Pukki putting up good numbers in the Premier League.
Cantwell is currently on six goals and two assists, with Teemu Pukki on 11 goals and three assists, and Emi Buendia is yet to score but has seven assists.
Assuming a worst-case scenario in the summer, Norwich could lose all three of them and have their attack ripped apart. This means that the club would have to be in the market for wide players and a striker, unless Farke feels Josip Drmic and Adam Idah can step up in the Championship.
There is also the issue regarding the number 10 position. Ondrej Duda has been impressing in attacking midfield since joining the club on loan, but it remains to be seen as to whether he would be willing to sign permanently in the summer.
f not, Norwich would be back to square one with an underperforming Marco Stiepermann – who has 0 goals and 0 assists in the league this season. This means that they could also be in the market for an attacking midfielder.
