Ligue 1 side Lyon have reportedly had a bid of €7m rejected for Norwich target Tino Kadewere this month.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, Lyon submitted an offer starting at €7m and including a number of add-ons, but Le Havre opted to turn down their opening salvo.
Paris Normandie reported that Norwich, Bournemouth and Southampton are keen, whilst the Birmingham Mail have added Tottenham and Aston Villa to the growing list of suitors.

Given that Le Havre have already rejected €7m for Kadewere outright, it is fair to say that they are looking for a larger fee for the striker. This means that, if Norwich were to sign them, the Canaries would need to spend a record fee under Daniel Farke to land him. According to Transfer League, £3.5m for Grant Hanley from Newcastle is the most money spent by Norwich under Daniel Farke so far.
Kadewere has scored 17 goals in Ligue 2 this season, which suggests that he is clinical in front of goal. However, Norwich already have Teemu Pukki – who is on nine goals in the Premier League – as well as Josip Drmic and Adam Idah on the books, which means that they are fairly well-stocked in the striking department. In my opinion, Norwich should avoid spending big money on a new striker because of the options they already have in the building.
Norwich could, instead, look to develop Idah and hand him more first-team minutes in the second-half of the season to help him progress as a player. The 18-year-old scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup against Preston earlier this month, showing that he has promise.
