Norwich City defender Philip Heise is reportedly set to sign for Nurnberg on loan until the end of the season.
According to Bild, via Sport Witness, Norwich have sanctioned a deal to see him join the 2. Bundesliga side for the rest of the campaign, having struggled to make an impact in England.
The report claims that he will undergo a medical on Saturday before officially completing his move back to Germany.

Heise’s move to Norwich simply has not worked out. He was signed as a back-up left-back to Jamal Lewis in the Championship, but failed to even make the bench for the club as they marched to the title.
His first, and only to date, competitive appearance for the club came in a 1-0 defeat to Crawley in the League Cup earlier this season. Whilst he had a fairly decent game, it was not enough for Daniel Farke to give him a shot in the Premier League.
With Sam Byram proving himself to be more than capable of playing at left-back in the Premier League, ahead of Lewis, it has left Heise as the third choice in that position. This means that a loan move appears to be the best course of action for him at present.
