Norwich are reportedly eyeing up a January swoop for Dundee United and Scotland forward Lawrence Shankland.
According a report in The Pink’Un, Norwich have been scouting Shankland as they consider their targets for the January transfer window.
The report claims that Rangers and Everton are also keen on the striker, who has scored 21 goals in all competitions for the Scottish Championship side this season.

There is no doubting that Norwich need to do something in the January transfer window if they want to avoid relegation to the Championship. The current squad has the club sitting bottom of the league and six points adrift of safety, which suggests that reinforcements are needed.
Beyond Teemu Pukki, Norwich lack another goalscorer in the squad. Dennis Srbeny has scored three league goals in three years and Josip Drmic has suffered injury after injury, whilst only scoring once in the few games he has been able to play.
Signing a relatively young, at 24, striker in Shankland would provide Pukki with some more competition and give Daniel Farke another option at the top end of the pitch. Given Norwich’s low budget, signing a forward from the Scottish Championship does sound ideal in terms of the prices they will be able to afford.
