Manchester City are set to recall Patrick Roberts from his loan spell at Norwich during the January transfer window.
According to The Pink’Un, Manchester City will be bringing Roberts back from Norwich after he failed to make an impact in the first-half of the season.
The report claims that Middlesbrough are poised to sign him for the second-half of the campaign in the Championship.
READ NORWICH VERDICT

Roberts came in with a good reputation and an impressive pre-season, but something has seemingly gone wrong off the pitch or on the training ground. He has had no injuries and Daniel Farke has given little reason as to why he has not even been an option off the bench.
The most reasonable assumption is that Farke has not seen enough of him in training to suggest that he would be good enough to play in the Premier League. Sending him back to Manchester City also allows Norwich another loan from a domestic club, leaving them with two available for the upcoming transfer window. This means that Norwich have more room to maneuver in the market and add to their squad in a bid to avoid to relegation back down to the second tier.
