Norwich City are reportedly interested in signing Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland in the January transfer window.
According to The Stoke Sentinel, Norwich are eyeing up Butland as a potential signing in the winter as they look to bolster their squad.
The report claims that Bournemouth and Aston Villa were both keen in the summer, but have since moved on from the England international.

Do Norwich need him?

No. Tim Krul has been in impressive form this season between the sticks and is beginning to show that he is good enough to be a Premier League number one again.
The Dutch shot-stopper caught the eye again last weekend as he made a crucial save from Dominic Solanke to keep his first clean sheet of the season against Bournemouth. Norwich also have Ralf Fahrmann behind him, who was Schalke’s captain in the Bundesliga only a season ago and played well against Crystal Palace before going off injured.
There appears to be no need for Butland to move to Carrow Road, unless Krul or Fahrmann leave the club in January. However, there has been no indication of either of them going anywhere, which makes these links to Butland seem odd at best.
