Will this force Norwich into signing a central defender in the January transfer window?
If Klose is ruled out for a minimum of nine months, possibly. It would leave Ben Godfrey, Christoph Zimmermann and Grant Hanley as the only recognised centre-backs.
Zimmermann is untested at Premier League level and returning from an injury, whilst Hanley has had a terrible start to the season – making mistakes in all three Premier League games so far.
With potentially two viable centre-back options for Farke, he could need to bring in a defender to bolster his squad in the next transfer window. However, it may not be necessary if Klose is only out for four months, as he could be back towards the end of January.
