TalkSport pundit Stan Collymore has praised Norwich for their improved performance against Newcastle last weekend.
Collymore criticised Norwich for their failings against Liverpool at Anfield on the opening day, but has now – rightly – given them credit for learning from their mistakes.
Twitter: The question last week was, “would #NCFC acknowledge and rectify the openness of Anfield.
The answer is yes.

Twitter: @StanCollymore Wouldn’t get too excited, they won’t be playing a team lacking quality quite like NUFC do every weekend (@akajry)

Was it just the standard of opposition?

READ NORWICH VERDICT
Whilst, of course, Newcastle are not on the same level as Liverpool in terms of quality – they still defended deep and caused Norwich problems from crosses into the box.
They tested the Norwich backline, who responded well to keep them quiet in large spells during the game. Newcastle’s late consolation goal only came due to an individual error from Grant Hanley, rather than a tactical flaw from Daniel Farke’s point of view.
Norwich will now be hoping for another strong performance as they host Chelsea at Carrow Road this weekend.
