Newcastle midfielder Isaac Hayden has heaped praise on Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul this week.
Hayden has commended Krul’s professionalism from his time at Newcastle and claimed that he is a top-class shot-stopper.
Speaking to The Atheltic, Hayden said this:
I think Tim deserves it. He was a consummate professional when he was at Newcastle. He’s a top-quality goalkeeper and he’s proved that in the Premier League. Credit to him that he’s got back to this level after a bad injury.

READ NORWICH VERDICT
Despite pre-season doubts over whether or not Tim Krul would be able to make the step back up to the Premier League, the Dutchman has turned in two solid performances between the sticks.
One of the biggest concerns about his game has been his ability to get down quickly enough to low shots, which has not yet been tested in the opening two games of the season. However, he has been commanding from crosses and corners, as well as producing some fine reaction saves from close range.
If he can continue to produce big saves and performances, Ralf Fahrmann will be beginning to wonder why he switched the Bundesliga for the Premier League this summer!
After struggling to get into the Schalke side in the second-half of last season, Fahrmann will surely be concerned by Krul’s form as he remains stuck watching on from the sidelines at Carrow Road. However, he may get the chance to make his debut in the League Cup against Crawley next week.
