Norwich City will travel away to face Crawley in the EFL Cup later this month after being drawn against the League Two side on Tuesday.
The Canaries will play Crawley on either the 27th or 28th of August, which is in between a home clash with Chelsea and an away trip to West Ham in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke will be given the chance to hand out minutes to some of the fringe players in his squad, as well as those potentially returning from injury at the time.
But, which Norwich players could be given a chance to impress against Crawley in the cup? Here are some…
RALF FAHRMANN

Norwich signed Fahrmann on a season-long loan from Schalke earlier this summer, but the German needs to bide his time and prove that he is good enough to replace Tim Krul between the sticks.
He should be given the chance to catch the eye and put in a strong performance in goal against Crawley, in what is likely to be his competitive debut for the club.
PATRICK ROBERTS

Roberts was one of Norwich’s standout players over pre-season, particularly impressing in a 5-1 win over Luton as he scored a sublime goal and was involved in the build-up for the other four.
However, he was an unused substitute at Anfield on the opening day and may have to wait until the cup clash with Crawley to make his mark in Norwich colours for the first time.
MARIO VRANCIC

After two years at the club, Farke already knows what to expect from Vrancic when he selects him. However, after an injury-hit pre-season, Vrancic could be forced to sit on the bench until he is given the chance to prove that he is fully fit and ready to be selected in the Premier League.
The Bosnian international scored 10 and assisted seven from central midfield in the Championship, and will be hoping that he can carry on his goalscoring form into the top-flight over the next eight months.
SAM BYRAM

Max Aarons has started Norwich’s last 42 league matches across the Championship and Premier League, which means that it is safe to assume Sam Byram will be the second-choice at right-back for the foreseeable future.
Brought in from West Ham this summer, Byram will be banking on impressive displays in the cup or Aarons losing form in order to start in the league for the Canaries.
