Norwich City have reportedly made a “signifcant” offer for Lorient forward Alexis Claude-Maurice.
According to French outlet SoccerLink, Norwich have submitted a bid for the winger, which is said to have been well received by the French club.
Lorient president Loic Fery is satisfied by the offer placed by Norwich, although no specific fee is mentioned.
The report claims that it is now down to Claude-Maurice to decide whether or not he wants to make the switch to Carrow Road.

Arsenal and West Ham have both been linked with the Frenchman, which suggests that teams in the top-half of the Premier League are paying attention to the young forward.

Claude-Maurice scored 14 goals for Lorient in the second tier of French football last season and caught the eye with his performances down the left flank and through the middle as a false nine.
The 21-year-old would add further depth and quality to Norwich’s attacking options and complete the club’s transfer business for the summer.
SoccerLink also reaffirms reports that Norwich are set to sign Ibrahim Amadou on loan from Sevilla, with Claude-Maurice now seemingly the next target for Stuart Webber.
As stated in this in-depth report on Claude-Maurice from BreakingTheLines, the forward is said to have exceptionally quick feet and is most suited to playing on the left of an attacking midfield three.
At 21, Claude-Maurice also still has plenty of potential for Daniel Farke to work his magic with, having brought the best out of the likes of Max Aarons, Ben Godfrey and Jamal Lewis.
If Norwich can get a deal over the line for Claude-Maurice, he will be an excellent addition to the squad.
