READ NORWICH VERDICT
Amadou is an excellent addition to Norwich’s squad and could prove vital in keeping the club in the Premier League.
The French midfielder boasted some impressive defensive stats at Sevilla, despite failing to nail down a regular place in the starting XI, which indicates that he could improve Norwich’s defensive record and give them an enhanced chance of survival.
He had a tackle success rate of 79%, completing 27 tackles in just 17 La Liga appearances – 758 minutes.

With Alex Tettey currently out injured, Tom Trybull has been Norwich’s only defensive midfielder throughout pre-season. Amadou can now come in and challenge the German for his place, providing good competition in the squad.
Farke could even opt to play both Trybull and Amadou in games against the top six sides, to offer more protection to the back four – potentially looking to play on the counter-attack.
