Norwich City have made an enquiry to Chelsea over the possibility of signing Danny Drinkwater on a season-long loan.
According to The Daily Mail, Norwich are interested in a deal for Drinkwater, with Brighton also keen.
The report claims, however, that Norwich have also made contact with Watford and Sevilla over moves for Nathaniel Chalobah and Ibrahim Amadou respectively.

Drinkwater would certainly come in with a high pedigree, after winning the Premier League with Leicester in 2016 and joining Chelsea in a deal worth £35m two years ago.

But would he suit Norwich’s philosophy? Stuart Webber has consistently made a big deal about the fact that the club are trying to create a culture in the dressing room and are not prepared to risk that by bringing in a player on too much money or someone that may disrupt the unity of the squad.
According to Spotrac, Drinkwater currently earns £100k-per-week at Chelsea, which is unlikely to be matched by a club recently promoted to the Premier League – meaning that he would be on the most money in the squad, which could cause issues within the dressing room.
There is no doubting that Drinkwater has quality, backed by his achievements at Leicester, his move to Chelsea, and his three caps for England, but it may not be worth the risk for Norwich on the chance that it upsets the balance in the team.
