Norwich City have reportedly offered to take Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes on a free transfer this summer.
According to The Sheffield Star, via The Pink’Un, Norwich asked Sheffield Wednesday if they could sign Rhodes without having to pay a transfer fee.
The report claims that Sheffield Wednesday bosses have been infuriated by this offer, claiming that Norwich have shown them no respect.

Rhodes spent the 2018/19 campaign on loan to Norwich in the Championship, scoring nine times in all competitions for the club.
The forward played second fiddle to Teemu Pukki for the majority of the season, but chipped in with important goals along the way as Norwich won the Championship title.
Rhodes has been playing for Sheffield Wednesday in pre-season, although the Sheffield Star claim that the club still want to move Rhodes on before the end of the window next week as they look to get rid of his wages.
