Norwich City forward Diallang Jaiyesimi is said to be on the verge of joining League Two side Swindon Town on loan.
According to The Swindon Observer, via The Pink’Un, Jaiyesimi is set to sign for the Football League club on a season-long loan.
The report claims that Swindon revealed the news themselves at an open training session, although neither club have made an official statement on the deal as of yet.
Jaiyesimi has been playing for Norwich’s under-23’s in pre-season and caught the eye last Saturday as he scored in a 2-1 defeat to Leyton Orient in a friendly.
The forward spent last season on loan to Yeovil in League Two, scoring twice and assisting one in 11 games before having his season ended early by an unfortunate injury.
Norwich have sent a number of academy players out on loan deals this summer as they look to develop the next set of Max Aarons’, Ben Godfrey’s and Jamal Lewis’.
