Norwich manager Daniel Farke has admitted that he is aware of the club’s financial restraints and accepts that it will be unlikely to sign more players this summer.
The German coach has already added five players to his Championship winning side from last season, with the three permanent players totalling under £1million. Fellow promoted sides Sheffield United and Aston Villa have been much busier, with the Blades having broken their transfer record, while Villa have spent over £100million on ten new recruits.

Despite the Canaries not being able to match their rivals financially, Farke is still optimistic over his team’s prospects this season, telling Sky Sports News:
I’m pretty realistic.
Of course we would like to add some quality because when you are able to spend money and add some quality, you have a bigger chance to stay in this league and be successful but we know we have to compete with our tools and that’s what we are trying to do.
I’m happy with my group of players. I won’t complain and I’ll work with whatever I’ve got and I’m pleased with that. We have all these lads together and I expect a quiet last two weeks.
