Norwich City goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann has admitted that he wants to play for his parent club, Schalke, again.
The German shot-stopper is currently on a season-long loan to Norwich, after losing his place at Schalke last season.
Fahrmann started the 2018/19 campaign as Schalke’s number one, and captain, but an injury and a loss of form led to Alexander Nubel becoming the German club’s new number one.
He has also claimed that Schalke did not handle his situation professionally and has hit out at former sports director Christian Heidel

Speaking to Ruhr24, Fahrmann said this:
I tried to stay calm and professional and do everything for the club to avoid unnecessary unrest.
And because the handling of me was not professional – without wanting to go into detail now.
My contract was extended by one year until 2023 during the summer break. Christian Heidel (56) had promised me this year in the course of my extension of last year, but not implemented. When Jochen Schneider (48) came, that was done, so I would like to thank him.
My wish is to play for Schalke again. Contractually, it is also recorded.
Fahrmann will be competing with Dutch goalkeeper Tim Krul for a starting spot in the Premier League next season, with Norwich facing Liverpool away on the opening day.
