Norwich still keen on Lorient forward Claude-Maurice
Norwich are reportedly still keen on signing Lorient forward Alexis Claude-Maurice this summer.
According to French outlet Soccer Link, the Canaries, along with Brighton & Hove Albion, are both tracking the player who looks set to leave the French side this summer.
Arsenal are thought to be Claude-Maurice’s prefered destination, with West Ham and Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach also keen.
Fellow French outfit Nice are also interested in the player and have been reported by French outlet GFFN as the favourites to sign the striker.
The 20-year-old is thought to be after regular game time next season, something which Canaries boss Daniel Farke could well be able to provide him with during Norwich’s top-flight return next season.
Claude-Maurice found the back of the net on 13 occasions for Lorient last season, and it appears as if Norwich haven’t given up hope on signing the player this summer, however, the Canaries will have to battle a plethora of European sides in the race for his signature.
