Fahrmann has joined on loan for the 2019/20 Premier League campaign and Norwich do not have an option to sign him permanently at the end of the season.
Norwich are reportedly set to pay Schalke €3m in loan fees over the course of the year, whilst also paying his wages in full.

The German shot-stopper lost his place to Alexander Nubel at Schalke last season, after dropping out of the team due to injury, and will now be looking to bounce back at Carrow Road.
Fahrmann comes with a wealth of experience, having played over 200 times for Schalke in all competitions – including 40 appearances across the Europa League and Champions League for the German outfit.
He becomes Norwich’s third first-team signing of the summer, following Patrick Roberts and Josip Drmic’s arrivals at Colney.
