It had appeared that West Brom had beaten Norwich in their chase for Benfica midfielder Filip Krovinovic.
The Croatian looked like to join the Baggies on loan, rejecting a move to Norwich in the process.
However, the move has been put into doubt with a late setback putting any deal on hold, according to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, as reported by Sport Witness.

The setback is big enough that Krovinovic has returned to Benfica to train, with the player remaining there until the two clubs can reach an agreement.
The loan deal had been expected to go ahead, with West Brom paying £300,000 to take the player from Benfica and a further £300,000 if they managed to gain promotion to the top flight.
The current state of the deal may convince Norwich to come in again for Krovinovic, with the Canaries having an interest in a deal according to previous reports.
